Main title sequence and epilogue for the thriller/horror film Underwater. After some early screenings, the studio realized they needed a prologue of sorts to educate the audience of both the inherent dangers of working seven miles below the surface of the ocean and to hint at secretive problems that have plagued the drilling site where the film takes place. We created maps, confidential documents, and newspaper headlines as assets to layer with mysterious photographs, 3D diagrams, and other visual effects.
